Black Friday is just around the corner .. although, I have to admit, I have never gone out into that madness. But, I do keep up-to-date with the sales and such with an email subscription to BF Ads. Today, however, I recieved my weekly subscription email from Scrapbook.com. They have started their sales today and have different items marked 20% off each day through Cyber Monday. Tomorrow is 20% off all Sizzix . Now, if you are into scrapbooking and such crafts that use die cutting and embossing; you too will think this is a cool new gadget. It is called the Vagabond Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, created by Tim Holtz and Sizzix. I don’t know if this is the greatest new invention or even an improvement from what is all ready available on the market… but it looks really cool! Check it out …

Exciting News for Cricut Lovers!!

Provo Craft has announced their new product the Cricut Imagine. This nifty device will print and cut your scrapbooking embellishments with one touch of a button; and, does not require a computer or software. It is also compatible with all Cricut cartridges and the Gypsy. Forbes and Yahoo Finance have great articles about it and all of its features. Also, a big thanks to Linda at Just A Scrappin’ for posting an article along with YouTube videos and pictures of this new and amazing machine. The only thing I don’t like about it is the hefty price tag .. at around $600.00!
Oh My Doodlebug

My youngest son loves to doodle. On our way to vacation this summer, I was doodling out some designs and he just couldn’t wait to add to my collection. Inspired by his enthusiasm to doodle I created a few digital scrapbook backgrounds and embellishments.

Photoshop can create some interesting visual effects. This morning I decided to add some fog to a photo of a graveyard. Here is the before picture ..
It was taken at an Old Cemetery in Waco, TX. Here is the same picture with fog added to it.
